Located on the outskirts of a historical picturesque farming village, which itself is situated on a mountain-top overlooking the beautiful wide valley of the Conca de Barbera in the northern limits of the province of Tarragona, on the Ancient Track of Saint James which is part of the Route of the Cisters, where B&B; style accommodation is offered in a historic building.

The house, a Catalan stone farmhouse, has been entirely renovated, in harmony with the 200-year-old stone and beams, providing modern comfort in a beautiful rustic ambiance. All those who stay here are enchanted by the atmosphere and environment. The accommodation is more-or-less vegetarian and non smoking with a warm and friendly atmosphere.

You can arrive under your own steam, be accompanied from Reus airport with your own hire car or be collected and taken to visit nearby nice places in the afternoons. In the mornings you can take walks nearby nearby, go cycling or round the village with its unparellelled views over the wide valley and whole long chain of the Pyreneeds, covered in snow except in Summer. The brand new 5 star thermal spring establishment at Rocallaura offers spa facilities a few minutes drive away. Or relax in the house if you wish.

There are 2 double and 2 twin bedrooms for guests. A good buffet style breakfast is included. Other meals can be taken at good restaurants in the village, a simple meal can be provided by your hosts or make use of the kitchen.

The house is equipped with solar-heated hot water, which has electric back-up just in case. Electricity is provided by electric windmill generators situated on the nearby hills and duvets on the beds. Water saving devices are used and central heating is a special low-consumption electric system.
