Description

An operational lighthouse-St Anthonys, is connected to Sally Port Cottage which provides accommodation for 4 guests at the furthest point of the stunningly beautiful Roseland Peninsula.

The whole of this cottage is ground floor, with a modern well equipped kitchen & dining room, bright cosy sitting room with electric wood burner effect, ideal for relaxing with a good book. There is a calming master bedroom with en-suite shower room and a lovely twin bedroom with separate bathroom with bath & shower. The cottage has electric heating to keep you warm & cosy.

To the outside of the property is a sun-trap patio area with garden furniture & sensational views out to sea, the perfect spot to enjoy your morning cuppa and watch the boats drift by.

There is also an observation room which is detached from the property, with large windows which overlook the outstanding sea views and furnished with table & chairs along with electric wood-effect stove to keep you cosy.

Sally Port Cottage is in close proximity to the capital of Cornwall, Truro, a charming historic town. There are a number of interesting places to visit nearby, including an easy to get to beach, along with great walks from the lighthouse itself to explore the surrounding National Trust land with stunning views of the sea and surrounding area. In season, there is a ferry boat operating between St Mawes & Falmouth where you can visit the National Maritime Museum.

This is an operational lighthouse with an automatic electronic fog signal. During occasional periods of fog and mist, ear plugs are provided for your comfort. Guests should be aware that the lighthouses and equipment need regular and sometimes emergency maintenance. Therefore visits by maintenance staff may occur at any time during the year. However, staff will do their best to ensure guest privacy at all times.

Parking - the access path to the cottage can be found behind the bird and wildlife information board on the right at the far end of the car park, opposite the property on the left. It is 300m uphill from the cottage, it is not possible to drive down to the cottage.

3 night minimum stay. Children over 14 years of age are welcome, sorry no babies. No pets are allowed. No smoking.
