Description

Serenity Barge is a historic cargo barge, converted to offer guests spacious accommodation - 3 ensuites with breakfast - in Reims, in France's Champagne region.

At 39m (128ft) long the boat is equivalent to around 4 narrowboats in size, ensuring good sized cabins, a large salon and there is even a hot tub on the top deck! As well as static B&B;, multi-night cruises are offered along the canal on a charter basis during the summer.

Relax with the idyllic view from the beautiful sundeck and the al-fresco dining and explore the changing surroundings with trips and excursions that can be organised for you.

Serenity has all creature comforts for a pleasurable stay - central heating, air-conditioning, island beds with 300 thread count linens, complimentary toiletries and free WiFi. There is also a free carpark next to the boat.

When Serenity is not cruising it offers B&B; accommodation in Reims, with prices starting from €110 per night for 2. A group of 6 guests can stay in the B&B; for €300 a night. For a 6 night cruise, prices start at €1,600 per person. There is also the option of booking a 2-3 night mini-cruise.

Serenity Barge sleeps a maximum of 6 guests and is perfect for a romantic weekend or if travelling in a small group you can have exclusive use of the barge. The owners Graeme and Claire Wood live aboard and will take care of the boat so you can relax and unwind.

Please note there are 2 friendly cats onboard. They aren't allowed in the guest bedrooms but do access shared spaces such as lounge and diner.

No children - unless the boat is booked for exclusive use or a charter cruise.
