Description

Suitable for 2 adults. Or add up to 2 children under 8 at no additional cost.

Hidden away on an arboretum you can discover this gorgeous off grid shepherd's hut, offering an idyllic stay for 2+2 guests.

The hut is an original Roadman’s Wagon with a king size bed and 2 foldable single bunks above that are perfect for smaller kids. There is a log burner to keep you cosy as well as a twin ring gas hob for cooking. Enjoy sitting outside around a campfire in the evenings while watching the sun set, or if there is a bit of rain then you can seek shelter underneath the tent attached to the hut. There are fairy lights and candles for extra cosiness and hot water bottles and extra logs are supplied but be aware that if coming at the start or end of the season then the nights can be chilly so be prepared.

Communal shower and toilet facilities are a short walk away.

Locally you can explore the arboretum and discover the many hidden treasures that the estate has to offer, including hidden natural pools. If you want to go slightly further afield then there are many nearby historical castles and market towns that are worth a visit.

The hut is recommended for children under 8 only due to the small sleeping space.

**This hut has no electricity or running water.

1 dog per hut can be added for no extra fee.

Closed from November to March inclusive.
