Description

Gorgeous pair of shepherds' huts (offered together) in a rural retreat with sauna for 2 adults (request a tent for 2 children) on the edge of Snowdonia National park, near Betws-y-Coed.

There are two shepherd's huts available for your enjoyment with the first offering a living and sleeping space with a wood burning stove for chilly nights, super-comfy double bed with lovely crisp bedlinen and a traditional Welsh blanket for added cosiness. There is also a bistro dining table in here and a Welsh dresser that holds lots of books, maps and binoculars and some extra blankets too. The other hut is your bathroom hut and comes complete with a shower, toilet and sink plus a fabulous sauna, ideal for relaxing those aching muscles after a day out exploring.

Outside the huts you can discover your al fresco kitchen area with gas BBQ, single gas burner, fire pit and cool box. Enjoy dining outside at your picnic table, taking in the views of the wild flower meadow or sitting back on the supersize bean bags and taking in the stunning starry night sky.

The huts have been designed with no wifi or technology to distract you so you can get back to what is important in life - reconnecting with your loved ones and the beauty of the world around you.

Whilst here there is a plethora of activities that you can throw yourself into, such as walking, cyling, packrafing and the world's longest underground zip wire course, if you prefer to keep the adrenalin levels to a minimum, then there is a fabulous range of castles, gardens and art galleries all within driving distance.

Up to 2 children are welcome to stay in a bell tent with all you could need for a cosy stay including marshmallows for toasting. This is an extra cost of £150 per stay.

No pets.

Throughout the year there are anyday arrivals with a minimum 2 night stay except in high season where there are arrivals on a Monday and Friday with a minimum 4 and 3 night stay respectively.

FAQs

Can I book both shepherds' huts?

You get both of the huts with your booking. One is your living accommodation, the other is your bathroom so the whole area is exclusively for you.

Can I stay for one night?

Yes you can but as the minimum is 2 nights (which goes up to 3 during peak times) you'll be charged for the minimum stay. Select 2 nights and let me know after you have booked which night you will stay.

Can I bring my own tent?

Yes, you can (for maximum 2 children) if you're prepared to pay the tent surcharge and for over-occupancy which would be the same cost as hiring our bell tent.

Can I have an early check-in?

If we are able to have your accommodation ready in advance for you, we will automatically contact you to let you know.
