Solebay cottage is located at Pendeen Lighthouse, an operational lighthouse on the north Cornwall coast within a Site of Special Scientific Interest & an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Established in 1900, the now 2 bedroom property is well suited to a family break with stunning views over the ocean.

Spread across the ground floor with gas central heating to keep you cosy, there is space for 4 people with two beautifully decorated bedrooms, a double & twin. There is a well equipped modern kitchen with dining table & seating for 4 plus a lovely comfortable sitting room, the perfect place to relax around the electric effect wood burning stove after a long day exploring. The modern family bathroom has a shower & separate bath, perfect for a long soak after a busy day. To the outside there is a large walled patio to the rear of the property with seating area, ideal for some al-fresco dining.

Guests should be aware that the lighthouses and equipment need regular and sometimes emergency maintenance. Therefore visits by maintenance staff may occur at any time during the year. However, staff will do their best to ensure guest privacy at all times.

The lighthouse is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and there are an abundance of small seaside towns with teashops, cafes, shops & restaurants. Sandy beaches such as Whitesand Bay & Gwynver are only 15 minutes away and it's 2 miles from St Just and only 6 miles North is Land's End. During your stay you will have the opportunity to see lots of sea and coastal wildlife and if you are lucky you may see some seals on the rocks below.

Minimum 3 night stay, in July & August the minimum stay is 7 nights with Saturday arrival.
