The Yurt Retreat is a luxurious site exclusively for ADULTS ONLY nestled at the foot of Castle Hill, featuring a stunning self contained treehouse with private hot tub in the woods, two beautiful Roundhouses (with ensuite bathrooms, kitchens and outdoor baths) and two spacious yurts with private gardens, welcome you to a slower pace of life. The onsite sauna is currently unavailable due to covid safety restrictions.

Set on an organic farm, the site is tucked away in a stunning natural setting with abundant wildlife yet easily accessible by road and rail (direct train from Waterloo to Crewkerne). All this with an award-winning Gastro pub within walking distance in the local village of Hinton St George.

The Bird House treehouse has a wide staircase which winds between the trees leading to an ample decked area. There is patio furniture for alfresco dining, a BBQ and a firepit with a basket of wood. Inside your woodland retreat is a high vaulted ceiling with curved walls and windows with views of the trunks and leaves outside. The handmade bed, the rain head shower, the kitchen with quality appliances and stylish reclaimed wood, the handmade dining table and comfy sofa - the place has been created for your pleasure and comfort. There is WiFi, a DVD player, and hairdryer. bedding and towels and robes are included. There is a private hot tub for this property. Sleeps 2.

The Nest, a stunning Roundhouse, is at the top of the site and has uninterrupted views across the fields. The most private of the Roundhouses it offers a central double bed with ensuite bathroom with underfloor heating, rain-head shower and bath, full kitchen, Tv/DVD and WiFi as well as alfresco dining, BBQ and fire bowl. The property also has a private outdoor bath tub to bathe under the stars!

The Hide, the other Roundhouse on site is just as luxurious! With a gorgeous open plan living space with double bed, fully equipped kitchen and luxury en-suite bathroom with clawfoot bath and large rainhead shower, why would you choose anywhere else? Outside you will find your private outdoor bathhouse, garden with a fire bowl, patio furniture and rocking chair!

Owl Lodge is a spacious property with private hot tub, firepit and garden. Inside the open plan layout offers a contemporary kitchen with all mod cons and a bright and airy dining area. The cosy lounge space comes with comfy sofas, TV and woodburning stove, perfect for those cosy evenings in. Upstairs is your large bedroom with kingsize bed, ensuite wc and woodland views.

There are plenty of activities on the doorstep should you wish to take part in anything from fishing to golf, visit a spa or take cookery classes. There is a woodland sauna for guests to use with a fee of £10 an hour, afterwards enjoy a hot or cold outdoor shower, sure to invigorate the senses!

The Retreat is open all year round. Prices for the Bird House Treehouse and Owl Lodge range from £247 - £337 per night with a minimum two night stay. The Nest and The Hide range from £197 - £257 per night with a two night minimum stay.

An additional refundable £100 damage deposit is required.

Arrival days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturdays. Minimum stay 2 nights. Weekly stays have Monday or Friday arrivals. No Wednesday arrivals for Owl Lodge.
