Sopley Lake Yurt Camp

Sopley Lake Yurt Camp is ideally situated, only five minutes from the New Forest National Park and 15 minutes to the beach. Walk to the local pub, get your lamb steaks for the BBQ from the organic farm shop just down the road and pick your own fruit and veg from the surrounding farm fields. Fallow and roe deer often visit the camp, and a tawny owl lives in the surrounding woods. The lake itself teems with wildfowl and fish.

The authentic Mongolian yurts are filled with beautiful soft and hard furnishings from as far afield as Kyrgyzstan, Korea, China, Morocco and India. The facilities on site are all private, including fully equipped outside cooking station, hammocks, bathroom with eco-loo and hot shower and campfire. There are four pitches lakeside, with five yurts accommodating from 2 to 8 depending on the yurt.

Roast your marshmallows over your campfire, stare at the stars from your hammock or cosy up in front of the wood burner inside your yurt. After all, this is glamping!

Yurts for 2 adults and 2 children start from £130 per night, £180 for weekends and peak periods. Elephant Yurt and the White Elephant sleeping 4 adults and 4 children - £240 / £220 per night or £400 / £350 for weekends and peak periods. White Elephant and Dragon Yurt combined sleeps 6 adults and 6 children - £380 per night / £580 weekend and peak periods.

MINIMUM BOOKING 2 NIGHTS and weekends get booked in advance so please think ahead. Group bookings can be taken for up to 40 people in the yurts and the new bell tent camp. The bell tents are for group bookings only.
