Description

Lovingly converted Grade 2 listed chapel, close to Ludlow, offers a great base for up to 4 guest to explore the beautiful Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The property has been restored with care and comes complete with all you could need to enjoy a self catering holiday. The open plan area on the ground floor has a cosy living space with comfy sofas, soft blankets and a gas fireplace with unique chimney breast, as well as two large cast iron electric radiators to keep you extra warm. Here you can relax with a book, plan your day or snuggle up to your loved ones and watch TV. There is a DVD player supplied plus Freeview, BBC iPlayer and Netflix.

Behind the living area is a traditional dining table, sourced from another Welsh chapel, where you can enjoy family meals and game time. The well equipped country style kitchen comes with all mod cons that you could need to cook up a delicious feast. From here you can access the contemporary and stylish family bathroom complete with bathtub with shower above and modern fittings.

Up on the second floor is a delightful double bedroom with a mezzanine opening to the living room below. From here you can delight in the countryside views through the large picture window before sinking into your comfortable bed for the night. A second bedroom with twin beds is ideal for children and has all accessible windows locked for safety.

Out the front of the property there is a small gravelled area with al fresco dining and BBQ. This looks out over the country lane and across to the fields, where you can often watch cows going about their day.

From this great location there is plenty to see and do with the market town of Ludlow just a 15 minute drive away. Here you can explore the ruins of the medieval castle, visit the striking 13th century Stokesay Castle with moat or simply enjoy a nose around the farmer's market.

A little further afield you can explore Bridgnorth, Bishops Castle, Ironbridge and Powis Castle as well as attractions including the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre, RAF Museum Cosford plus a range of Heritage train lines and National Trust properties.
