Historic yet contemporary styled barn offers a rural retreat for up to six people with private hot tub in the quietest and prettiest part of the old town of Minehead.

The property oozes luxury with its modern touches and open plan living area. Architect-designed, the living/cooking/dining area is upstairs to enjoy distant views to Exmoor. Here guests will find the living area with its comfortable corner sofa opposite the 55" UHD Smart TV. As well as central heating, there's an electric flame fire. Built from the original elm floorboards, the entertainment centre includes Netflix and Sky, and fast business-speed broadband. The top floor includes a spacious kitchen diner area that comes with all mod cons including two electric 'slide and hide' ovens and all any chef could need to cook up a delicious meal for the family. Also upstairs is a double bedroom, with plenty of storage. Guests use the shower room on this floor.

Downstairs are two further luxurious bedrooms. 'Pineapple' is a large bedroom that can be configured as a kingsize or twin room depending on your needs. It comes with its own shower room plus has a shutter door. At the rear of the downstairs is a second bedroom with kingsize bed and an en-suite with bath and a shower too. Called 'Disney', this room has a 6ft ceiling clearance, so not for the taller guests! Also downstairs is the laundry area under the stairs where guests will find a washing machine, tumble drier, airers, hoover and doggie blankets.

Outside enjoy the enclosed cottage garden and relax in the bubbles of the hot tub, taking in the views of the church. Take time to relax al fresco with your favourite drink at the bistro table whilst planning your day's adventure.

Locally you can take a stroll around the historical Church Steps, a local beauty spot. Wander down to Minehead town, with its many shops, cafes and restaurants, or head to the historical quayside and sandy beach. Trainspotters will love the vintage railway at the seafront. Don’t miss nearby Dunster village with its historical high street and many historical monuments, including the National Trust Castle and beautiful gardens. For day trips, we recommend Porlock Village and Weir, or a trip on the breathtaking A39 to visit the Victorian villages of Lynton and Lynmouth with stunning views on the way. Hikers will love exploring the beautiful Exmoor National Park and the South West Coastal Path which starts at Minehead where you see the large hands holding the map.
