Description

The Summer Howf offers a bijou garden style stay for 2 guests, secluded amongst trees, alongside a duck pond near Dunblane.

The "Howf" is furnished to give you a feel of camping but with a touch of luxury and is a bright and airy space. Complete with its own electricity and a delightful sleeping cove with stargazing window you can idle away hours staying cosy with the wee woodburning stove snuggled up to your loved one. Whilst here you can relax with a cuppa at the dining table, or simply sit here and plan your day's adventure. Alternatively put the binoculars to good use and see what birds you can spot, using the hand bird book.

Outside a delightful canopy covers the patio area where you will find everything you need in the camp kitchen. When the sun shines take the picnic blanket and lie under the amazing Ash tree only disturbed by the ducks and birds. With a distinctly European feel, the Summer Howf is furnished tastefully with all you will need and more!

This property has access to The Wash Howf which is a short 50m stroll from the accommodation. It contains a hot shower, toilet, washing up area, fridge/freezer and even a microwave. Also here you can find the site's simple honesty shop where you can get fresh eggs, additional wood and information for day trips.

There is plenty to do in the area with great access to main roads and railways. Take a trip to the leafy Causewayhead Park where you can admire the trees and take a stroll to the Wallace Monument - the views are definitely worth the climb. Just a short distance on you can visit the 12th century Stirling Castle and former palace where you can enjoy an interactive experience inside and out.

No children or pets. Strictly no smoking inside the property.

The Summer Howf has a minimum 2 night stay with anyday arrival. Closed in winter.
