A totally private, romantic or family stay, in a log cabin with hot tub and pizza oven on the edge of a forest in South West Wales.

In the middle of the Welsh countryside, perched under a thriving horse chestnut tree, you will find your private glamping escape.

Sit back and relax in your hot tub, fire up the pizza oven and enjoy the panoramic views of the valley below.

The cabin has been designed as a cosy bolthole for 2, or as a very practical family holiday (up to 5 people).

Outside you can play croquet on the lawn, roast pizza in the oven, or just enjoy the simplicity of an open fire on a starlit night.

The eco hot tub is electric, so is always bubbling away ready for you, just a 10 second walk along the weaving path from the cabin.

All for your own exclusive use – your privacy is important. Escape to The Chestnut Cabin to relax and enjoy the countryside in style.

A perfect setting for watching a wide variety of birds. Regular visitors to the garden are:- blue tits, great tits, robins, blackbirds, nuthatch, woodpecker, chaffinnch, dunnock and sparrows. We often see long tailed tits, bull finch and wrens too. Overhead you reguarly see red kites, buzzards, raven, housemartin, swift and swallows. In the night you'll see bats and hear owls.

Just below The Chestnut Cabin is woodland with a path meandering down to a small stream. This woodland walk takes about 20 minutes and throughout it you can look out for the woodland animals hidden along the way.

Locally there is plenty to do with Folly Farm fun for the little ones in the family and Blue Lagoon water park for the more adventurous of guests. Those that prefer a more sedate stay will enjoy trips to the many National Trust properties in the vicinity. Laugharne is also a popular town to visit with its castle and is where Dylan Thomas lived, wrote and is buried. You can also enjoy trips to the beach with Amroth, Saundersfoot and Tenby all within a 30 minute drive.
