The Hideaway is a beautifully refurbished, traditional fisherman's cottage dating back to the 1980's. Sleeping up to four people, within walking distance to beaches and Porthleven's iconic harbour, this property is an ideal getaway for two couples or a small family.

Spread across two floors, downstairs there is a lovely lounge area with comfy sofas and TV to keep you entertained, with exposed stone walls and traditional fireplace nook with wood-burning stove to make sure you're warm & cosy. Separate from the lounge is a well-equipped, contemporary kitchen with breakfast bar & stools for 4, a perfect spot to dine & chat about your plans for the day ahead. Upstairs there is a spacious landing with office desk and chair plus a chest of drawers, handy for extra storage. There is a master bedroom with king size bed and it's own TV, and second bedroom with a comfortable double bed, the bathroom can also be found on this floor and features a double walk in shower with large rain head attachment.

Outside there is a large enclosed multi-level, sun-trap garden with delightful stone-paved patio, furnished with dining table, chairs & parasol, perfect for some al-fresco dining. There is a glass balustrade separating the top tier from the decked level below which features a bistro set for two.

The Hideaway is set in the town of Porthleven, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with the town centre and beaches such as Porthleven's or Loe Bar within walking distance. There are plenty of award-winning restaurants in the area offering delicious seafood caught in Porthleven's very own waters. If you're looking for a day trip, Land's End and Penrose Estate's rich farm are within easy reach by car.

On-street parking in the area, there is a nearby public car park at Kittos Field which is about 5 minutes walk from the cottage.

Minimum stay of 2 nights. In July and August there is a minimum week stay with Friday arrivals. One well-behaved dog welcome at a cost of £25 per week.
