Description

The Hop Kiln is a former working kiln which has been converted into a beautiful two bedroom property, whilst keeping it's original exposed beams & brickwork, set deep in the countryside between North Herefordshire & South Shropshire.

Set adjacent to a working farm, The Hop Kiln is spread across two floors. On the ground floor is a gorgeous lounge with plenty of comfortable seating where you can relax whilst watching TV. This leads through to the open-plan well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar plus dining area with seating for four guests.

Upstairs you can find the two bedrooms, a fantastic circular master bedroom with 6'6 super-king size bed and a second spacious bedroom with 6' super-king size zip & link bed, which can be converted to two 2'6'' single beds on request, plus an en-suite modern shower room. There is also a separate bathroom with bath & hand held shower attachment on this floor. Underfloor heating throughout the property keeps you warm & toasty.

To the outside is a large fully enclosed private garden with an amazing chimney style fire place/barbecue with dining area on the patio, ideal for al-fresco dining in the sunshine whilst looking out to the stunning views of the orchard & countryside. There is also a tennis court where access can be arranged with the owner.

The Hop Kiln has plenty of walking & cycle routes in the surrounding countryside for you to enjoy. A short walk into the village of Monkland you can find a working dairy which produces & sells local artisan cheeses plus a Tea Room with delicious home made cakes. A half hour drive away is the historic, medieval town of Ludlow with plenty of shops, restaurants & the amazing Ludlow Castle upon the cliff overlooking the River Teme, ideal for a day trip out.

One small well behaved dog is welcome at a small additional charge. Plenty of off street parking is available.
