Within a clearing in the Black Mountains you can find these eco-friendly renovated shepherd huts. A central fire-pit is the perfect place to snuggle at night whilst watching the stars and a wood fired hot tub a great way to ease the aches and pains after exploring the Brecon Beacons.

Sleeping up to 8 in all; 2 in each, these solar powered huts come as a group booking where children are also welcome. There are 3 huts grouped together with a separate utility hut for cooking & showering, then a 4th hut powered by a windmill is situated a few minutes walk away for those looking for more privacy.

The huts themselves each come with a comfy double bed, wood burning stove to keep you warm and solar powered lighting. The Utility hut has a fully equipped kitchen with wood fired oven, white goods and all you need to cook a nice hearty meal. A large shower, washbasin and modern compost toilet are discretely located around the back of the Utility hut, please note towels are not provided.

To the outside there is a BBQ grill over the stone firepit, wood-fired hot tub & outdoor canopy area with seating, ideal for some al-freso dining or to sit & relax whilst star-gazing. The hot tub is charged extra at time of booking at £130 per week (£100 for 3/4 night stays).

Although the huts are rural, Hay on Wye is only a few miles away and there you can find pubs, restaurants and many book shops as this is the location of the annual literary Hay Festival between May and June.

Closed November to Feburary. 3 night minimum stay with Friday arrival and minimum 4 night min stay with Monday arrival. No pets. Child cots provided upon request. Please note the parking is at the top of the hill on site - there is no parking next to the huts, and guests will have to carry luggage down the hill to the site.
