According to legend, The Temple was used as a secret hideaway by a married Reverend to meet his gypsy lover. Now lovingly restored as a peaceful and romantic getaway for 2 on the edge of a stunning lake in a beautiful garden setting.

Located in the Cotswolds, there are many beautiful and charming villages where you can while away the time in a local pub or restaurant. Bibury, which is only a short drive from Dursley, has been described as "the most beautiful village in England" for its picturesque cottages and stream. A little further afield you can visit the stately home that is Sudeley Castle, or the legendary Stonehenge.

The Temple itself and the Folly Gardens that surround it are Grade 1 listed by the English Heritage. In The Temple, there is a main Long Room with perfectly formed alcoves that contain the bedroom, WC and shower, writing alcove and bar. There is a sitting area at the far end with a well-equipped kitchen. Central heating is available to ensure that you keep warm and cosy in this intimate setting.

Well behaved dogs are welcome, please bring their bed. Wifi is available. A luxury welcome pack will be ready for you on your arrival. A deep relaxing massage is available on request.
