Description

Glamping site near the Welsh border that offers a plethora of different properties affiliated with nature and being at one with the world. The Wagon Over the Valley with outdoor bathtub, their take on a hot tub, perfect for 2 guests looking for a romantic getaway.

The Wagon has stunning mountain views from its hilltop location and offers you a gypsy caravan inspired stay. The decorated ceiling is a delight to behold whilst the antique wood burner will keep you snug and warm. There is a small double bed inside plus 2 Edwardian desks, perfect for the inspired writer.

Outside there is a covered dining and seating area and you can find a gorgeous roll top bath where you can delight in watching the stars from the warm water. A lean-to kitchen area offers a small fridge and a power point to charge your mobiles, if you want to!

Locally you can walk the famous Offa's Dyke Path, visit the Small Breeds Farm Park and Owl Centre or take a trip to the literary Hay-on-Wye. Here you can drive up to the Bluff, only 8 minutes from Hay, to the top of the Black Mountains with breath taking views and walks. Alternatively take to the water and try your hand at canoeing - a fun and unique experience for everyone. The Warren is a riverside beach accessible from Hay-on-Wye, with its expanse of fields along the River Wye. Food buffs will enjoy a delicious meal at Rhydspence Inn which is just a 40 minute stroll away through the country lanes, the perfect way to work up an appetite.

Should the temperatures drop below freezing point, it is most likely that there will be no water from taps, in that case we will top all outdoor tubs with water ahead of freezing, and provide drinking water in glass bottles and fill thermoses from the house tap (drinking water), and you can heat up water to wash up on stoves. However this is an extreme scenario which has not happened in recent years.

There is a Wood fired Norwegian Sauna on site, this can be fired on request for £10 each session of 1 hour, for each bubble of people......this is proving very popular and what better way to celebrate!!!

Children are welcome from 7 years on, but the properties have not been designed with children in mind so please get in touch if you have any questions.

Dogs welcome for a charge of £20. Strictly no puppies.

The first basket of wood will be provided, the ones after £7 each, you're very welcome to bring your own. IF you want to have an outdoor fire, where possible, please provide your own wood for fire pits.

No loud music.

Closed in Winter.

There is a minimum 3 night stay.
