Description

Take a step back in time and enjoy a peaceful stay at one of 2 traditional gypsy wagons near to Bude.

Set in a secluded but rustic woodland setting each vintage wagon sleeps 2 guests and is quirky and individual with a fire pit and basic cooking facilities...plus a pizza oven on site available to use with the owners permission! Here you will really find somewhere to relax and unwind listening to the birds and watching the stars.

Inside the wagons are simple in design with a double bed and some storage. They are off grid so lit with twinkling fairy lights and lanterns for that true back to nature experience. Bathroom facilities are basic but include a compost loo and glamping rustic cubicle with open roof solar shower. Electricity comes from solar power, whilst water is from a nearby bore hole. You will be provided with some drinking water separately.

On site you can enjoy the market garden as well as watching the chickens and lots of resident wildlife. The site is close to the town of Bude with its fabulous sea pool and surfing lessons and only a few miles to historic Clovelly with its cobbled streets.

There is a minimum 2 night stay with arrivals from Wednesdays through to Saturdays. No children or pets.

For 4 guests you can request to book both wagons - for 2 couples or a family with teens. The wagons are set 50 yards apart.
