The Quirky Tour
Climb into the trees to enjoy a fabulous getaway with space to relax for a family or friends - or lots of room for a couple.
I absolutely loved the use of wood - carved in beams, rough painted in the kitchen units and 4+ poster beds and dining chairs made from branches.
We kept lovely and cosy from the warmth of the aga and found the beds and crisp sheets divine.

Description
Tilia Tree House is within a holistic retreat venue set in an idyllic river valley replete with ancient trees and abundant wildlife. Almost entirely powered by renewables, their ethos is one of optimal living. The site is the perfect getaway nestled in nature. Discover a luxurious, alternative range of accommodation stretching across 21 lush acres of gardens and woodland, lake and river. The treehouses are beautiful bohemian spaces, suited for a range of stays, be that a romantic getaway or a magically memorable family holiday. Each is unique in its design, although all are fully furnished with rustic pieces, oozing with character, and added luxuries.
Tilia Tree House sleeps 6 and is a real showstopper, an open-plan mezzanine design and hand crafted four poster beds, giving a real sense of space - level with the squirrels and birds! It is the tallest of all the treehouses but with its own unique design and sunny south facing view over the treetops. There are 3 super king size beds that can be separated into twins on request. This treehouse benefits from its own stylish ensuite with shower and toilet.
As the owners have expanded in scope and ambition, their dream has always been to create a plant based café supplied by the kitchen garden, and be a fully catered site. The Garden Kitchen cooks seasonal, organic food using the astonishing diversity of fresh vegetables, fruit, flowers and herbs picked daily from the garden just metres away. The seasonal, hyper-local menu is designed to highlight the delicious produce from their garden and key local suppliers. Inspired by their own homegrown produce, with dishes for vegetarians and vegans.

The beautiful lake for wild swimming and water-based adventures is flanked by the lakeside shellhouse. Sprawling lawns, a chalk stream for morning dips, woodlands which fuel greencrafts and hide treehouses, a heated pool in a paved suntrap for serious R&R; and unlimited spaces in which you can unplug to recharge. Tilia Tree House has all this to offer and so much more to make your stay unbelievably magical.
