Description
Tinker Treehouse is within a holistic retreat venue set in an idyllic river valley replete with ancient trees and abundant wildlife. Almost entirely powered by renewables, the ethos is one of optimal living. The site is the perfect getaway nestled in nature. Discover a luxurious, alternative range of accommodation stretching across 21 lush acres of gardens and woodland, lake and river. The treehouses are beautiful bohemian spaces, suited for a range of stays, be that a romantic getaway or a magically memorable family holiday. Each is unique in its design, although all are fully furnished with rustic pieces, oozing with character, and added luxuries.
Tinker Tree House, the country's first to be made available for overnight stays, offers an intimate retreat for two, and is perfectly packaged as a cosy treetop bolthole, with heavenly views across the lake from the balcony. Inside the brightly coloured bedding and bunting lends itself to a warm welcome whilst the log stove with hot plate ensures you will stay warm and cosy whatever the weather throws at you. This property uses the communal garden wash house.
Fully catered, the brand-new Garden Kitchen is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner for all guests from Monday to Sunday. The kitchen cooks seasonal, organic food using the astonishing diversity of fresh vegetables, fruit, flowers and herbs picked daily from the garden just metres away. The seasonal, hyper-local menu is designed to highlight the delicious produce from the garden and key local suppliers. Inspired by their own produce, there will always be dishes for vegetarians and vegans.
The beautiful lake for wild swimming and water-based adventures is flanked by the lakeside shellhouse. Sprawling lawns, a chalk stream for morning dips, woodlands which fuel greencrafts and hide treehouses, a heated pool in a paved suntrap for serious R&R; and unlimited spaces in which you can unplug to recharge. Tinker Treehouse has all this to offer and so much more to make your stay unbelievably magical.
Tinker Treehouse is closed December to mid March.
