FAQs

Are children welcome?

Yes, absolutely. We welcome couples and families alike but do ask that parents keep a close eye on young children as, as with any natural environment, there are hazards such as the brook, steep slopes and stinging plants and insects.

Can I bring my dog?

No, for the sake of the woodland wildlife, we do not accept dogs (except service dogs).

Can I park my car next to the Treetop Cabin?

No, so as not to damage the meadow, all cars are left at the top of the valley. The cabin is a steep walk so is sadly not suitable for those with limited mobility.

Do you provide towels and bedding?

We provide bedding for the beds but you will need your own bedding if using the daybeds. Please also bring towels for the shower.

Can we have campfires?

Yes, there are specific sites for campfires.

Do you provide firewood?

Yes, we provide firewood and kindling for your log burner and campfire.

Do you take hen or stag parties?

No, because of the quiet nature of the site, we cannot take large single-sex groups.

Can I hire the event for my wedding or event?

No, at the moment we do not cater for large numbers of people. The site is ideal for family groups of up to 14 people.

Any tips on what extras I should bring?

A torch is always useful as well as walking boots or wellies, waterproofs (just in case!) and slippers for inside the cabin.
