In the North of Norfolk at Cromer lighthouse (originally built in 1680) there is Valonia, a semi-detached 3 bedroom cottage that sleeps 5 guests. The cottage is adjacent to the Royal Cromer 18-hole golf course and there are beautiful panoramic views of the sea from its windows.

The cottage is spread across two floors, on the first floor you can find a relaxing sitting room where you can chill and watch TV or sit with a good book looking out to the views of the golf course & the sea beyond, all whilst being kept cosy with the electric 'woodburner effect' fire. There is a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook whilst admiring the sea view which leads onto the bright dining room with plenty of seating with beautiful sea views from the window. The bathroom can also be found on this floor and has a bath with hand held shower attachment. On the first floor of the cottage are 3 bedrooms, there is a double bedroom with king sized bed & sea views as well as a calming twin bedroom and single room. There is also a separate WC on this floor.

Outside you can find a walled garden with outdoor seating to sit & enjoy dining al fresco whilst taking in the stunning surrounding views.

Just a 10 minute stroll along the coastal footpath from Valonia takes you to Cromer, a traditional North Norfolk town well known for its spectacular crab sandwiches. In this town there are plenty of shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, with a long sandy beach lined with colourful beach huts. There is also a pier where a theatre and cafe can be found. Activities such as cycling, boat tours, rowing, canoeing, kayaking and water zorbing can be arranged through the company Norfolk Adventure.

Guests should be aware that the lighthouses and equipment need regular and sometimes emergency maintenance, therefore visits by maintenance staff may occur at any time during the year. However, staff will do their best to ensure guest privacy at all times.

No pets. No smoking. Travel cot, highchair and stair gate available.

Minimum 3 night stay. During the months of July & August the changeover day is Saturday, in these weeks the minimum stay is 7 nights.
