The Velvet Morning can sleep up to 4 guests with a kingsize master bed, a bunk for a child and a seating area that converts into a double bed, thus offering a great base for couples or a fun family holiday with children. There is a cosy living area with dining space for three and a handcrafted kitchen with gas oven and hob, fridge, sink and storage facilities. In the bathroom, there is an unexpected treat - a claw foot bath (with hand shower) where you can relax after a busy day exploring the city. Of an evening you can snuggle up with your loved ones in front of the wood-burning stove, whilst planning your next days adventure.

There are a few intricacies that need to be learned whilst staying on a narrowboat - water is held on a tank on board which needs topping up regularly. The solid fuel stove burns coal & logs which are provided. It may be worth noting that the power supply on a narrowboat can be drained by appliances, so the engine may need to be started to charge up the batteries. The owner will be on hand to advise and assist if necessary.

Boat runs on battery power and solar panels. Everything is fully recycled or composted where possible.
