Wacky Stays is set on a beautiful farm with over 150 animals on the stunning South Island of New Zealand. The farm offers 5 quirky glamping options plus guests get free access to Kaikoura Farm Park and exclusive access to early morning feeding.

Kaikoura Farm Park is home to over 150 free-range roaming animals for guests to meet, feed and cuddle. The farm offers free pony rides for small children and there are several different llama treks to choose from too.

The Tipi and Yurt are both large with plenty of space for up to 4 people. They are fully insulated and have a double bed and 2 single beds each plus a private hexagonal toilet building each with shower, toilet and wash basin. There is disabled access to the Yurt and its bathroom.

The Colonial Wagon was custom built over 2 years by a craftsman in Christchurch. It is fully insulated and offers 2 single beds or 1 king size bed, a kitchenette, a shower room and lounge with sofa and TV with Blu-Ray/DVD/CD player.

The House Truck is truly unique. It was hand crafted over an 11 year period and it is built on a 1940's Bedford K series. The truck sleeps up to 3 people in 1 double bed and 1 single bed. The small lounge has a cosy wood burner, seating and TV with DVD/CD player. There is a toilet with separate shower on board.

The Farmers Cottage sleeps 6 people in 2 bedrooms and has a shower room and fully equipped kitchen plus a lounge with wood burning stove, WiFi and 42" plasma TV with satellite TV and Blu-Ray/DVD/CD player. Guests at Farmers Cottage get exclusive use of the gas BBQ, parking and plenty of outdoor space including a children's play house and toys.

There are several fully equipped BBQ areas on site with gas BBQ, oven, hob, cooking utensils and more. Guests are supplied with a basic welcome pack for breakfast. There are over 700 films available for guests to watch. Linen, towels, bath robes, slippers and electricity are included.

Guests can enjoy free unlimited entry to the Kaikoura Farm Park and 2 hours entry before the park is open to the public. Prices from NZ$149 a night.
