Description
Having already featured on George Clarke's Amazing Spaces, this 1950's caravan called the Warwick Knight is extremely rare and the only renovated one in the world with a fantastic roof garden. It is located on a small, family-friendly site in the heart of the Severn Vale with views across the orchards.
The Warwick Knight is the perfect glamping experience for couples or families of 4. During the loving restoration a unique roof garden was added and is the perfect to relax on a hot summer day. The hand-crafted interior is cosy and welcoming, with a warming woodburner, plenty of living space, a double bed, two cosy bunk bed pods and lots of natural lighting. The rooftop garden is the perfect spot for stargazing at night and the relaxing experience in and outside the caravan is enhanced by luxury soft furnishings, plush duvets and the highest standard décor. The kitchen is spacious and equipped with a gas cooker, hob and grill, fridge, sink, cooking utensils, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery, coffee, tea, milk...
There is also a fire pit outside the caravan which can be used as a BBQ and all necessary tools are provided. There is a private wood-fired shower and sink cabin only 25 metres away and the private compost toilet is adjacent to the caravan.
If needed, a travel cot can snuggly fit in next to the double bed.
The property has picturesque views over beautiful countryside and is only a short walk from the River Severn. Offering the perfect starting point for long walks and to explore the wildlife and the nearby orchards in a truly family-friendly environment, with children and parents being able to meet the friendly farm animals as well.
Historic Gloucester is only 5 miles from here, and equally easy to reach are Berkeley and Berkeley Castle, Cheltenham Spa as the cultural centre of the Cotswolds, the charming green town of Frampton on Severn with its impressive Tudor and Georgian architecture, the market town of Cirencester and many others.
