Description

Luxury shepherd's hut set on a working farm near Bishop Auckland offers a relaxing rural retreat for 2 with stunning countryside views and a wood burning hot tub!

Inside the hut has been well organised and offers a comfy double bed, seating area, wood-burning stove, plus a well fitted kitchenette with microwave, fridge, coffee machine, kettle and toaster! A modern shower room completes the interior. The decor is quirky in styling with touches of purple that match the unique poster size picture of the local countryside with its stunning heather.

Outside the hut you can relax in the warmth of the wood burning hot tub whilst taking in the beautiful views around you. A firepit is the perfect place to enjoy toasting marshmallows whilst taking in the starry night sky.

Locally you can visit the 14th century Raby Castle or Auckland Castle Deer House. Alternatively put on their hiking boots and take to the North Pennines or Durham Dales for a good old fashioned hike - sure to blow away the cobwebs. Step back in time at Beamish open air Muesum or visit beautiful university city of Durham is just a short drive away and offers a plethora of activities for a great day out.
