Gorgeous yurt set on a quarter acre of woodland with private sauna offers a tranquil and magical stay for up to 4 guests on the edge of the Blackdown Hills Area of Natural Beauty near Cullompton. There is 1 yurt on site, meaning all facilities are just for you.

This site has been lovingly built by the owners who believe in the importance of resetting the body and mind within nature and it has been inspired by their travels over the years.

There are many areas to explore on the site with the large 6.4m2 yurt taking pride of place. Inside there is a gorgeous double bed, fit for romance, plus 2 single beds for an additional 2 guests. A log burning stove keeps the whole yurt amazingly warm whatever the weather and there are two very comfy armchairs to relax on as well as additional floor seating. All linens, towels and even electric blankets are supplied for the cosiest of stays.

Just a few steps from the yurt you will find your well equipped kitchen hut with electric hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and a table and chairs for four. To the back of the cabin, a stunning Balinese door takes you through to your own private shower room with hot water shower and sink. In another hut just off to the side of the yurt is your eco friendly compost loo and a second sink.

Whilst here you can enjoy the many outdoor areas, each of which offers something a little different!

The covered Garden Lounge with hammocks and seating allows you to enjoy the outdoors no matter what the weather is! There is even a firepit installed within the Garden Lounge so you can get cosy and warm even in the rain & toast marshmallows to your hearts content.

Next to this is an outdoor seating area with a second firepit, perfect for those clear and dry evenings.

At the entrance of the site, after coming through the small gate you will find your sauna cabin with covered deck, hammock and chairs. If you are feeling brave, then after a sauna session you can cool off in the al fresco cold water shower, whilst taking in the stunning views around you. Alternatively cross the bridge over the stream to the island bank where children can have fun throwing stones into the stream.

Finally if you prefer to soak up some vitamin D, then the sun deck pergola with lounger chairs is the ideal place for a siesta in the sunshine or as a place to take in the starry skies at night.

Locally you can take strolls through the countryside, being sure to visit the Rhododendron Woods nearby or enjoy a fun day out at Crealy Theme Park and Resort on the outskirts of Exeter. Animal lovers will delight in a visit to Wildwood Escot where you can see a range of animals, before getting lost in the maze and enjoying a cuppa in the onsite cafe. If you prefer a little culture, then there are a choice of National Trust properties and gardens to enjoy.

One free basket of wood supplied for the wood burner.
