Hideaway suite inspired by the nautical town of Whitby, sleeps up to 4 guests on 500 acres of native English woodland in the peaceful Yorkshire Wolds near Sancton.
The interior of the suite has a maritime theme with driftwood and rope detailing featuring throughout. There is a fabulous master bedroom area with feature art work as well as a sofa bed. A woodburner keeps the suite cosy whilst the basic kitchenette area with fridge, kettle and sink offers enough to make that all important cuppa. The spacious bathroom has a modern walk in shower accessed via a sliding barn door.
Outside is a large covered veranda with charcoal BBQ and twin gas hob. Enjoy cooking and dining al fresco whilst taking in the sights and sounds of the woodland around you. If you prefer not to cook then take a 20 minute stroll to the nearby award winning Star at Sancton Pub for a delicious home made meal.
If you fancy a change of scenery then head to The Woodshed, a communal chill out area with wood burner where you can enjoy tea, coffee and homemade cake all on an honesty based system. Outside you can chill out around the covered fire pit - a great place for conversation, story telling and stargazing in all weathers.
If you want to relax further then a Spa treatment can be organised in the privacy of your own suite for that extra luxury. Choose from a massage, manicure, pedicure or facial.
Locally you can try your hand at a range of activities including polo, gliding, watersports and golf! If you prefer a slower pace of life then the country houses of Sledmore and Burton Agnes Hall offer gorgeous interiors and well designed gardens to admire.
Whilst here why not take a day trip to the North Yorkshire Moors for a day of hiking or to the Yorkshire Dales where you can visit the beautiful Aysgarth Falls, Malham Cove or Bolton Abbey with its famous stepping stones across the River Wharfe.

There is a minimum 2 night stay except on Sundays when 1 night can be booked. Arrivals are Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Weekly stays have Monday, Wednesday and Friday arrivals.

Not totally. There is a fridge, electric kettle and a 2 ring gas hob plus a BBQ. There is also a large clay oven available at The Woodshed.
Do you take pets?Unfortunately we aren't able to take pets due to the wildlife.
Can I come by train?Yes, our nearest train stations are Beverley and Brough, both a 10 minute taxi ride from the site.
What do I need to bring with me?We recommend outdoor clothes, wellies, sturdy shoes for the stone paths and slippers for inside the suite. A torch is also handy!
Are the suites warm and cosy?Yes there is a wood burner in the master bedroom and radiators in the bathroom.
Is the suite private?Yes there is at least 25 metres between suites.
