Description

Wreay Mansions was once a hunting lodge where the Duke of Norfolk would retreat, but is now a great place for 5 people to stay with a spectacular view of Lake Ullswater, in the Lake District, and the surrounding scenic landscape.

This property is spread across four floors and has a total of 3 bedrooms. On the ground floor you can find the master bedroom which has its own en-suite plus a large twin bedroom which can be converted to a double on request. There is a short staircase leading to the single bedroom with shower room. All of the bedrooms have their own TV's so no arguing over what to watch here!

Moving onto the first floor is the fully equipped kitchen with aga and a separate laundry & cloakroom with wc. On the second floor there is a stunning open plan living & dining room, with comfy seating around the fire to chill after a long day of exploring. The feature log wallpaper helps to bring the feel of outdoors in. There are three double doors leading onto an amazing 30 foot long sheltered balcony looking out to the scenic views with garden furniture making it the perfect spot to sit back & relax. Outside there is a cobbled patio and lawned garden.

The accommodation also provides central heating, electric feature stove, gas hob and electric oven, electric Aga, microwave, fridge/freezer, wine fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, TVs, Freeview, DVD,CD player and outdoor furniture.

Watermillock is a charming hamlet with various pubs, shops, bistros and cafes within easy walking distance. Walkers are spoilt with choice of the many routes with incredible views from right outside the front door. Similarly, this area is very popular with cyclists and others who enjoy being outdoors, with a choice of fishing, sailing and playing golf.

No smoking. NO PETS. Parking available for two vehicles. A travel cot and highchair is available.
