Nestling 20 feet up in the air supported by 3 oak trees, this treehouse offers an idyllic tranquil stay for 2 guests in the Kent Downs Area of Natural Beauty in Elham.
The treehouse is bijou in size with just a comfortable double bed, a couple of chairs, dining table and a small kitchenette area with gas hob, cool box, electric kettle and Nespresso machine. It offers simplicity in a world of busyness, the perfect place to just sit and stop for a while. Enjoy taking your time over making that morning cuppa or simple meal whilst spending some quality time with a loved one. From the large window you can enjoy countryside views as far as your eyes can see whilst listening to the wind blowing through the canopy of the tree will soothe your soul. The treehouse has heating so you can enjoy a cosy stay all year round.
Outside you can relax by the fire pit with your favourite drink in hand or stoke up the BBQ for some delicious al fresco cooking and dining. Alternatively order in a takeaway or take a stroll to the nearby pub.
There is a small cabin with chemical loo below the treehouse and you can ask to take a shower in the owner's house. The owner will bring you a simple yet delicious breakfast each morning which will fire you up ready for a wonderful walk through the barley fields nearby or along the Elham Valley Way, one of the finest walks in the UK, which passes by the property.
If you wish to travel a little further then Canterbury is just half an hour away by bus or 20 minutes by car. Alternatively take to the beach at Margaret's Bay in Folkestone. There is so much to do and see in this area, if you can drag yourself away from the tranquility of the treehouse, including a visit to Dover or Woolmer Castle.
