Howgill Lodge

Luxury lodge with unique decor, wood burning fire pit, hot tub and North Yorkshire Moors views, offers a rural retreat for some rest and relaxation.

The Quirky Tour

Stunning views from the lodges, each has a hot tub and firepit BBQ and seating on private terraces.

I loved that the interiors are colourful with high design and quality finish. This was a lovely surprise in such a rural setting.

The lodge has all you could need to enjoy a wonderful holiday with a unique boutique hotel style decor, full insulation for complete cosiness plus central heating. There is an open plan living dining area with 2 comfy sofas, one of which opens to be a sofa bed, plus a smart TV with Netflix and wifi, for when you want to share your photos of the stunning views with friends and family.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave and more with all the utensils you could need to cook a slap up meal. Alternatively head out to your terrace and use the fire pit with cooking grill and internal pizza oven and release your inner chef!

Back inside there are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both uniquely decorated with luxury feather and down bedding. A family size shower room complete with fluffy towels completes the interior.

Head outside to your terrace where you can slip into the warmth of your wood fired hot tub, or relax on the comfortable seating taking in the rolling hills before sitting up at the al fresco dining table to enjoy your feast.

The lodge is set on the Duke of Devonshire's Estate and enjoys a very special setting in the North Yorkshire Dales. Here on site you can head to the cafe of a morning to enjoy a barista style coffee with one of your favourite freshly baked pastries or take a 20 minute stroll along the River Wharfe, to not one but two traditional pubs in the village of Appletreewick. The site also offers the chance to get up close and personal with their family of alpacas!

Whilst here you can take a visit to the historic Bolton Abbey, where the Instagram worthy steps across the river are a must see.
