The Quirky Tour

Fully insulated and heated, these well designed cabins offer a comfortable stay year round (I can vouch for being warm in winter!). All our needs were catered for and ordering the tasty hampers adds to that.

The local pub - The Copley Arms - was a great night out with live music and tasty food and local ales.

Description

10% off weekly stays!

Jam First offers lovely Cornish sea views and sleeps up to 4 people (2 adults / children).

It is located next to another cabin called Clotted Cream with which it has a shared terrace. This means these two cabins are great for families or couples holidaying together. However the terrace can be separated with moveable trellis so offering 2 separate spaces as well. See Jam First & Clotted Cream to book both together.

Jam First has an open plan living area with a large queen size bed plus a double sofa bed. There is a well equipped kitchen with microwave, fridge/freezer and stove plus all utensils you could need. The en-suite bathroom has a modern shower and WC. Maximum 2 adults + 2 children.

Outside the property you can relax on your large terrace and take in the sea views from the comfort of your egg-shaped family chair or double hammock! Put on the DAB radio with Bluetooth and enjoy socialising around the fire pit. Children will love the freedom of the space, so don't forget to bring a football or kite and have some good old fashioned family fun.

Locally there is lots to do including visiting the beautiful beaches and ports nearby. The nearest beach is Seaton, where you can enjoy a stroll, followed by a drink at The Beach House. From here you can enjoy a walk up into Seaton through the woods - a great way to spend time in nature.

The seaside town of Looe is only a couple of miles away and from here you can take the South West Coast Path along to Polperro - a quaint Cornish fishing village.

Other activities include go-carting, wine tasting and visits to one of the many National Trust properties nearby.

Why not treat yourself to a Cornish hamper of goodies for your arrival. Choose from a breakfast, cream tea or local cheese hamper, with prices ranging from £12-£25.

Children welcome. Well behaved dogs welcome on enquiry at an additional £20 per dog. See terms. Bedding and towels provided.

FAQs

Do I need to book restaurants and activities?

We strongly recommend that you book as far ahead as possible to avoid any disappointment – restaurants get very booked up quickly, especially in the summer months and peak season.

We’re celebrating a special occasion, can we have the cabin decorated?

We’d be absolutely delighted to add some special touches to your cabin for your arrival or help to make your special occasion perfect – please get in touch to discuss options.

How do I order one of your local hampers?

These can be added to your booking during the booking process online, and your hamper will be in your cabin ready for you when you arrive.

Can I walk to the beach from the site?

Whilst it is possible to walk to the beach from the site, it is 3.7 miles and does involve using the road for some of the route, which has no footpath and can be steep in places so isn’t for the faint hearted!

Is there a shop within walking distance?

Tredinnick Farm Shop is just 0.6 miles from Lydcott Glamping and stocks everything you might need for your stay, as well as having a lovely cafe serving fabulous home cooked food.

Is there a pub within walking distance?

The Copley Arms in Hessenford is our nearest pub, just 1.4 miles walk. Please bear in mind that the most direct route is via the steep road down to Hessenford with no footpath.
