Description
Trunkquillity is a real luxury treehouse built high up amongst the treetops with a new HOT TUB sat underneath it alongside a swinging chair. It is located in the beautiful Wye Valley, close to the city of Hereford yet a million miles away and with the Brecon Beacons in view. An ideal romantic break for 2, although an additional 2 children (or 1 adult) can be accommodated with the use of the sofabed in the sitting room. This is a dog-friendly property. Fishing is included here on the private lake.
There is no compromise on comfort here as there is a bespoke bathroom with flushing toilet and power shower and a contemporary hand-built kitchen with full-size fridge/freezer, induction hob and fan assisted oven...A breakfast bar has 2 leather bar stools.
The open plan living space has hardwood polished flooring and a leather sofa bed that can sleep 2. There is a TV/DVD and Hi-Fi system, mood lighting and USB charging points. From the living room, patio doors take out to a large decked area with views over the lake and great for stargazing on a clear night.
Up a petite spiral staircase is the glass balconied bedroom for 2 with space and furniture to make yourself at home. The views are exquisite across the lake or to the west the Welsh mountain views.
Trunkquillity Treehouse is in a coppice/wooded area and is a focal point of local wildlife which can easily be enjoyed from the balcony. If you wish to fish the legendary lake on your doorstep you can do so free during your stay. Bring your own equipment and adhere to the rules regarding the preservation of this environment.
The hot water system is powered using electric hot water units for the sinks. These give warm water as set by guidelines to protect children, but water can be boiled by the kettle also.
The reworked roman road sees a higher volume of traffic than it did when built all those years ago so the owners wish to make it clear they cannot be held liable for any traffic noise from the road which is separated from the treehouse by a 7-acre private lawn area which you cross to gain access.
You will notice the owners have paid attention to detail to ensure you have a wonderful stay at Trunkquillity Treehouse. Wellies for your use, a CD collection, board games...
Full week bookings can be booked with arrival on a Saturday. Please note there is a minimum stay of 2 nights, 3 nights over a bank holiday.
Enquire about chartering a flight to Shobdon airfield in Herefordshire. If you have always dreamed of taking to the skies then the owners can help you take the next step. They are lucky enough to have a Heli pad on site, and aircraft available. To bring your future in aviation to your doorstep simply ask for more details when enquiring about these helicopter flight experiences.

FAQs
Yes dogs are welcome free of charge at the treehouse but are not permitted on the furniture.
Are children welcome?Yes children are welcome at the treehouse, but we ask that only children over the age of 5 use the hot tub.
Can I fish in the lake?Yes, you can fish in the lake. Please bring your own equipment. The lake has carp, perch, barble and silver fish. It is course fishing with no barb hooks to be used. For bait you can use whatever you like but as its a natural feed lake worm and maggots are best. The lake is only used for guests, not open to the public to use, so fish are not over caught. Carp range from babies to 30lb, Chub again from babies to 7.5lb. The lake is kept up to date with new fish yearly added
