"This was our second stay and despite some very rainy weather, had an even better stay than the first. We love the location, being able to go on beautiful walks including round Cotehele.

The art shop and care are great and a meal in the Tamar Inn was very tasty. The cottage is so peaceful with only barn owl hoots to break the silence. Eating breakfast overlooking the beautiful river and valley was wonderful. We've booked again already."

"The Old Luggage Van is compact but very well equipped including a very comfortable double bed, a very efficient shower with loads of hot water, and a cosy lounge area. Plenty of local information and a guide to a very easy walk around St Germans which is well worth doing.

A local pub, excellent restaurant and well-equipped local (not-for-profit) shop all within walking distance. Trains to Plymouth, Exeter, Truro, Looe and many points east and west depart from within 20 metres of the OLV and are well-worth using.

This is a very "green" oriented facility, including a biomass boiler and on-site recycling; and a "help yourself" herb garden. Definitely one to return to next year."
